Applications are invited for following posts:

1. Scientist: 

  • 10 posts (UR-5, OBC-2, SC-2, ST-1)
  • Pay : Rs.15600-39100, GP Rs. 6600
  • Total Gross pay inclusive of all allowances Rs. 53,094/- P.M. If accommodation is provided by CSIR, total Gross Pay excluding HRA : Rs. 48,024/- P.M. 
  • UPPER AGE LIMIT : 32 years


2. Sr. Scientist: 

  • 03 posts, All General/UR
  • Pay: Rs.15600-39100, GP Rs. 7600
  • Total Gross pay inclusive of all allowances Rs. 61,322/- P.M. If accommodation is provided by CSIR, total Gross Pay excluding HRA : Rs. 55,422/- P.M. 
  • UPPER AGE LIMIT : 37 years


Application Fees: An Application Fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) is payable separately for each post (Candidates belonging to SC/ST community, Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee) in the form of Demand Draft valid for a period of atleast 3 months from the last date for receipt of applications. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of the Director, CSIR-CFTRI payable at Mysore.
